Have you ever considered becoming a Councillor?
On average 29% of Councillors in NSW are women so females in particular are encouraged to apply.
Local Government elections are being held in September 2020 - so now is the time to make it happen.
ISJO and its member Councils, Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and Shoalhaven are encouraging women to run for a seat on their Local Council, and alongside ALGWA will be hosting a forum to provide information on ‘Life as a Councillor’ as well as 'Campaign Techniques'.
